Pilates for Prenatal and Postnatal Care

Whether you’re preparing for your little one’s arrival or navigating life postpartum (because postpartum is forever!), our Pilates for Motherhood program is designed to meet you where you are and help you thrive.

Pilates is not just about physical strength, it’s also a powerful tool for mental health. Motherhood can bring moments of overwhelm, and Pilates offers a chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. The focus on mindful movement and breath work helps reduce stress, boost energy, and create a sense of calm amidst the chaos.

Physically, Pilates is unmatched in its ability to support postpartum recovery. It’s ideal for addressing diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and rebuilding core strength in a safe, effective way. Plus, it strengthens the pelvic floor, which is essential for stability, bladder control, and overall well-being after childbirth. These targeted benefits make Pilates a cornerstone of recovery and long-term health for moms.

We welcome pregnant and newly postpartum clients in most of our classes, but safety is our top priority. While most classes are suitable, certain movements may need to be modified based on your trimester, recovery stage, or any specific medical considerations. Our instructors are trained to provide adjustments and guidance to ensure you feel supported and safe. 

For a more tailored experience, we recommend starting with private sessions if you’re new to Pilates or have unique needs. Before joining, you must be cleared by your doctor or midwife to ensure Pilates is appropriate for your specific stage of pregnancy or postpartum recovery.  Please inform us of your pregnancy before attending class so we can plan accordingly.
